Bomb Jack - Amstrad CPC

Bomb Jack is an arcade video game developed and published by Tehkan in 1984. Designers was Michitaka Tsuruta and Kazutoshi Ueda. Soon after publishing Bomb Jack experience a great popularity and ported to Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum, Commodore 16 in 1986. CPC Amstrad version of game published by Elite Systems.

The main character of game is Jack which begins to collect red bombs. After he taken the first red bomb the next bomb which he should take in a row has a flame. If Jack collects all the bombs which has a flame, before the last bomb collected, from the upper part of the screen will appear tokens with letters "B", "E" and "S". If you take "B" token then you get bonus score, for "E" you can get extra life and for "S" special prize. The main enemies in the game are birds and mummies that are constantly follow you and try to interrupting you to collect the bombs. The game is extremely fun with excellent sound effects and for that time Bomb Jack was a great hit among the players.
