10th Frame - Amstrad CPC

It's Saturday night. You dress your lucky bowling sneakers you save only for that moments. From locker you take out your lucky bowling ball your wife give as gift to you many time ago. And yes, you are ready to go out with company for a memorable evening time. Certainly, Saturday night is a term reserved for the unforgettable bowling moments you spend with your friends. 10th Frame is a ten-pin bowling simulation game created by Roger and Bruce Carver and published by Access Software in 1986. Video game also ported to Commodore 64, MS-DOS, ZX Spectrum, MSX, Atari ST etc.

At the start, you choose whether to play league competition or open bowling. If you have chosen a league competition, you will determine the team name and the number of players from 1 to 4 for each team. Then you determine the ability of the players on the team, kids, amateur or pro, as well as how many games you will play in total. After that the game will start.

At the top of the screen, the name of the team and the name of the first player to perform the strike are displayed, as well as a list of the games and points the team has earned. Then the bowling cones are placed and you start adjusting the player parameters. You can move the player in the direction, adjust hook shot and bowling ball speed. Over the game, you will learn how to make the best position for the shot that will knock down most cones and get you a lot of points.

So, if your wife, however, does not let you go to bowling with your company on Saturday nights, even in such a case you can still enjoy bowling with the video game 10th Frame. Good luck.
